Journal and reports
Journal
The Journal page is a calendar of your results, one account or all of them.
- Each day shows its P&L. The month's summary counts the days traded, the positive and negative days and the day win rate.
- Where the P&L comes from. Each trade's P&L is what the broker reports (profit, swap and commission). On MT4/MT5, a copy that closes at the broker on its own stop or target is filled in by the EA afterwards, from the terminal's history: it needs EA MT4 3.8 / MT5 3.7 or newer, and on MT4 the Account History tab must include the period (set it to All history for older trades). Until then the trade counts as 0 for that day.
- Click a day to see its trades and the day's news, and to write a note: what happened, a rating, your state of mind (calm, FOMO, revenge, hesitant, overconfident). A template helps you start (what worked, what did not, the rule you broke, what to do again tomorrow).
- The entries list shows the month's notes, with a search and a filter by rating. State of mind vs result compares your tagged days with their outcome: with few days, it means little.
- Export the month saves the month's entries.
- Share this journal creates a read-only link. Anyone with the link sees your notes without a password; no amount and no account number is shown. Turn sharing off to stop the link working.
Reports
The Reports page compares your accounts: P&L by account, number of trades and win rate for each, and the P&L month by month with the best month.
Both pages count the trades HydraSync knows about: the copies and the source trades it tracks. A trade made on a broker account that is not connected is not in them.
